§1Who sets them
Cookies on https://www.chatvoxo.com are set by FORCESCRIPTS LTD, company number 17110478. Address: Suite 10647, 5 Brayford Square, London, United Kingdom, E1 0SG. Questions go to [email protected].
§2In short
We use cookies only to run the site and remember settings you choose. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the service, we do not ask for consent under the UK PECR and the EU ePrivacy rules. Fonts load from our own server; opening a page sends nothing to Google or any other font provider.
§3Strictly necessary cookies
chatvoxo.auth: keeps you signed in. Lasts 14 days, extended as you use the site; removed when you sign out.
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery: checks that forms you submit really come from you. Lasts until the browser closes.
.AspNetCore.Mvc.CookieTempDataProvider: carries a short notice to the next page after an action. Lasts until the browser closes.
.AspNetCore.Correlation and Identity.External: only while signing in with Google, so the sign-in completes safely. Last a few minutes.
§4Preference cookies
.AspNetCore.Culture: remembers your language (Turkish or English). Lasts 1 year.
chatvoxo.theme: remembers light or dark appearance. Lasts 1 year.
We set these two only when you choose a language or theme.
§5Third party: Google reCAPTCHA
When turned on in the admin panel, Google reCAPTCHA runs on the sign-in and sign-up forms to stop bots. On those pages Google may set its own cookie (_GRECAPTCHA) and process your IP address and browser details. We do this to protect the service from abuse. Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
§6The chat window on our customers’ websites
The chat window writes a record starting with chatvoxo: to your browser’s local storage on the website where it is installed: the chat key, a random browser id, the number of visits and the date of the first visit. It also writes the pages viewed during that visit to session storage, which is cleared when the tab closes.
This stays in your browser. Only when you start a chat is it sent to the team that runs that website, to help them with your chat. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. The window runs on behalf of the customer who operates that website; that website’s own cookie policy also applies.
§7How to remove them
You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Deleting the necessary cookies signs you out; deleting the preference cookies returns the site to the default language and theme. Your full rights are in the Privacy policy.
