Why a conversation should not sit in plain text

Support records carry orders, addresses, and complaints. Someone who opens the database should not be able to read them.

A message in a support window is not small talk. It carries an order number, a delivery address, sometimes a complaint. Storing that as plain text means anyone with a database backup can read the thread.

Chatvoxo does not keep the message as plain text. The record stays encrypted. Your agent sees the conversation in the dashboard. Someone exporting the table does not.

There is a limit, and hiding it would be dishonest. If a model is going to answer, the text goes to the provider you chose. Privacy here means the message is not sitting open in our database. The provider’s own policy still applies. If the key is yours, that relationship is between you and the provider.

Tell the customer the plain version: the thread is kept private, and it is sent to the model you picked when a reply is needed.
